At Spectacular Cakes we take your wedding day as seriously as you do. We promise to provide you with the personalized service and attention your special day deserves.
We begin our pledge of service to you with the preliminary consultation where you'll be provided with a complete overview of our services and best of all, a sampling of our fine cakes and fillings. We'll discuss all your requirements and work together to ensure you receive a wedding cake and sweet table that will please both you and your guests.

Spectacular Cake's pastry chef prides herself on the quality and freshness of her wedding cakes, putting great care into constructing each cake. Our overall designs are simple and elegant, incorporating sugar frosted fruit, fresh cut flowers, white chocolate curls and detailing.
We offer a variety of flavors to choose from. Our Lemon Butter Cake is the lightest in texture and is popular for outdoor, afternoon weddings. It’s also a nice finish to elaborate dinner buffets. The elegant White Chocolate Cake is our most traditional choice. It’s a European style cake, ivory in color with a rich delicious flavor that is accented with thin layers of homemade lemon curd and fresh raspberry preserves. Our Tuxedo Cake is a deep bittersweet chocolate cake, rich in flavor but not overly sweet. It’s perfect for more formal weddings and true chocolate lovers.
Last but not least, we offer Vivian's Carrot Cake, and our moist Coconut Cake, two favorites of the Kansas City area.
Our cakes are delivered to your wedding unassembled and are put together on-site. We then complete the decorations to assure the best possible presentation.
We love to incorporate your family heirlooms, such as platters, linens or figurines to further personalize your cake.
Please call Vivian to arrange for a cake consultation and reserve your wedding day. You will be asked to select 2 to 3 cake varieties to taste at the meeting. There is a no charge for the first meeting. If you are wanting a second tasting there is a charge of $20.00.
After selecting a cake and arranging the details, we ask that a 50% deposit be put down on the cake. The balance is due 2 weeks before delivery of the cake.
The number of guests, as well as any changes to the design of your cake, can be finalized 2 weeks before the wedding.
We are happy to provide fresh flowers for your cake for an additional $45.00 charge. Flowers for the cake can also be arranged through your florist.
Deliveries to all areas can be coordinated on a case-by-case basis.
